Gerald Potterton has been writing a fortnightly column for the Irish Farmers Journal for around twenty years. He has a unique writing style which is often irreverent and typically humorous but, for all of that, straight talking and down to earth. His column is essentially focused on tillage farming but don’t let that put you off. You’ll find commentary on all sorts of matters, some with little or nothing to do with farming. This book is a selection of the best of Potterton’s pieces over the years, many of which you may recall and delight in reading again.
